At Moorside, we strongly believe learning should not be restricted to the classroom. We have three minibuses which we use to take children on educational trips and residentials.
Year 6 have been camping and surfing in South Wales, Year 5 have been to the Robinwood outdoor activity centre and Year 4 went to Lledr Hall outward bounds centre, while Year 3 stayed overnight in the Lake District. This year we are even venturing to London, our captital city.
Some of the places visited on school trips have included Bolton's Fusilier Museum, Rochdale Fire Museum, Lancaster Castle, Manchester Art Gallery, Imperial War Museum, Heysham Power Station, Smithills Hall Farm, Spaceport, Pendle, Crocky Trail, Transport Museum, Manchester's Science and Industry Museum, Salford Rugby Stadium, Eureka, Eyam, Stump Cross Caverns, Blackpool and Formby.
